La Biznaga
The Barrel Cactus
Inspired by the Mexican biznaga, or barrel cactus, La Biznaga represents resilience, protection, and the beauty of life in the desert.
This one-of-a-kind design was custom-made especially for MexiGlam Artesanal by Taller Isaura. As the largest and most substantial piece in our black clay candle collection, La Biznaga is a true statement piece—handcrafted from traditional Oaxacan black clay and hand-poured with 100% natural beeswax.
Its removable sculptural lid features delicate cactus-flower details, transforming the vessel into a functional work of art. Once the candle has finished burning, reuse La Biznaga as a sugar bowl, coffee bean holder, dry-goods container, keepsake box, or decorative accent.
