Maestra Ana discovered her passion for clay at just eight years old, learning alongside her mother Ana Maria Alarzon before founding Taller Ometéotl, where she continues to create pieces that honor her heritage while embracing innovation.
Committed to preserving both tradition and the environment, she works with locally sourced natural materials and sustainable practices. She is also passionate about empowering women and children in her community by sharing the art of ceramics and helping preserve Atzompa’s rich cultural legacy.
Today, her work is collected throughout Mexico and is featured in galleries and private collections in the United States.
Every piece is individually handcrafted, lead-free certified, and food and beverage safe. Because no two pieces are ever exactly alike, each one reflects the unique craftsmanship and story of the artisan who created it.
